Dr. Mark Green, a distinguished professor who served in the School of Business and Leadership at Our Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), has over 30 years of dedicated experience in higher education. He was instrumental in establishing OLLU's Leadership Studies PhD program and continues to be a prominent figure in the field.

Before embarking on his extensive academic career, Dr. Green served as a highly accomplished officer in the U.S. Army, including a tenure at the Pentagon. This background provided him with a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and practical leadership experience.

Dr. Mark Green describes himself as a lifelong learner. He holds multiple degrees, including a PhD in Educational Administration from American University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Our Lady of the Lake University, a Master of Education in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Missouri, a Master of Arts in Theology from the Oblate School of Theology, and a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) in Psychology from Westminster College.

He has also completed further graduate studies in Sacred Scripture and holds certifications and advanced training from institutions such as the National Defense University and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College. His academic pursuits reflect a deep commitment to lifelong learning across diverse fields.

With an impressive academic record encompassing multiple graduate degrees in business, education, and theology, Dr. Green is recognized as an authority on leadership. He has authored three books, approximately 100 peer-reviewed articles, and hundreds of conference papers. In addition, he has chaired over 100 doctoral dissertations and presented at various lectures and conferences. His research interests include the intersection of spirituality and leadership, the role of language in leadership, and key predictors of leadership success.
